Leather, spice, and oak mingle together with dried fruit aromas as you smell this wine. A lighter bodied red with great acidity and high pH make this a smooth and refreshing type of wine. A soft finish with a little kick make each sip seem better.
This is the first Tempranillo wine made at Coyote Canyon and I am proud to share it with you. In the past all of the Tempranillo has been used in our reserve blend Michael Andrews but I thought this wine showed well enough on its own to deserve a separate bottling. A little on the light side for Coyote Canyon wines but still great intensity and focus show just how well this grape can grow in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA.
