2012 Viognier

SALE: $15/bottle or $120/case

Tasting Notes

An elegant blend of Viognier and Rousanne. Crisp aromas of ripe peach, honeydew, melon and distant hints of honeysuckle. A nice rounded pallet and full mouthfeel was created by the small percentage of Rousanne and extending less contact after fermentation. A crisp back pallet with rich citrus undertones and a lingering finish of ripe peaches. A great glass of wines just by itself but it pairs so well with seafood dishes or a simple platter of goat cheese.

Winemaker’s Notes

This Viognier was handpicked, pressed as whole clusters, and fermented in stainless steel. The wine had extended contact with the lees which gave it more body and a rounder mouth feel.
