Barbera, known for its high acidity, is the primary component of this wine. This wine’s brilliant ruby color is a result of less than 24 hours of skin contact before the grapes were pressed off. A tangy blood orange, grapefruit, lemon pepper and rhubarb accent it's finish on the palate. Wonderful flavors blend to create the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. Great by itself or with casual Italian dining.
These grapes were handpicked, crushed and left on the skins just long enough to extract this wine’s beautiful color. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks.
