2010 Viognier

No Longer Available

Tasting Notes

Viognier and Rousanne blend is a wonderful aromatic wine that displays a pale golden color. Ripe pear, bright ripe apple, pineapple, and soft peach aromas with a racy, fruity medium body and along tangy honeyed Meyer lemon and clementine, and melon finish. Atypical high acidity and light texture for a viognier, more like a chardonnay-riesling blend, but very tasty and food friendly. This will pair well with grilled white meats and shellfish.

Winemaker's Notes

This Viognier was handpicked, pressed as whole clusters, and fermented in stainless steel barrels. The wine had extended contact with the lees which gave it more body and a rounder mouth feel.
