This wine is a tribute to Mike Andrews’ father. A big Rhone style blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, Grenache, and Counnoise. With a deep garnet color this wine displays aromas and flavors of white pepper, ripe black currant and blackberries. Supple tannins but a smooth texture create a full palate experience with a lingering finish of black currant and spice. This wine will pair well with marinated lamb or grilled red meats.Winemakers

In 2009 we were blessed with a very good summer and the Mourvedre fruit, being a late ripening varietal, ripened beautifully with great varietal expression. The grapes showed great color, flavor, and a perfect balance of acidity and sugar.
